Volunteer Income Tax Counseling for the Elderly Begins
PLOWS Council on Aging will again offer preparation of simple income tax forms for senior
citizens who reside within the PLOWS service area. Assistance will be provided in five
convenient locations from February 1st through April 15th.
PLOWS Office, 4700 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn
Palos Township Office, 10802 S. Roberts Rd. Palos Hills
Lemont Township Office, 16020 127th St., Lemont
Orland Township Office, 15100 94th Avenue, Orland Park.
Worth Township Office, 11601 S. Pulaski, Alsip
Appointments are necessary for all locations. Walk-ins will not be accommodated. To
schedule an appointment for the PLOWS Office or Worth Township, you may call 708-422-6722
after January 28, 1999. To schedule appointments for other locations, please call the
site: Palos Township, 708-598-4418, Orland Township, 708-403-4222, or Lemont Township at
630-257-2522.
Volunteers are needed for this program. Free training is provided by the IRS in January.
No experience is necessary. If you like math and enjoy working with others, this may be
the program for you. Volunteers usually work one (sometimes more)half days a week at the
